Bilingual Attorney Position
Established Concord plaintiff law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney who is fluent in Spanish. Successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with the client lien holders, witnesses and opposing counsel. Responsibilities include:
Conducting discovery, taking client and witness interviews, propounding and responding to written discovery; taking and defending depositions, drafting meet and confer letters, drafting and arguing ex parte motions, motions to compel, oppositions, replies, arbitration, settlement and trial briefs;
Representing clients at mediation, arbitration hearings, routine case management and status conferences.
Preparing for trial, preparing witnesses, drafting and arguing motions in limine, drafting jury instructions, verdict forms, direct and cross examination questions, preparing exhibits, drafting open and close arguments, and negotiating settlements.
Position is as an independent contractor. Leads are provided. Compensation is very competitive.
